Yingbi Lee (she/her) is a researcher, digital media producer and communicator with a particular interest in the intersection between culture and technology in relation to environmental and social justice. She was previously exploring ways to communicate the climate crisis and climate action to the creative community at Julie’s Bicycle, where she has also written, produced podcasts and led online discussions on climate justice.
Yingbi completed an MA in Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths in 2020, researching diasporic futurisms, post-humanism and transnational feminisms in music, cinema, and science fiction. She also curates for various digital platforms exploring the intersection between culture and nature, and the built and natural environment. Her primary focus is amplifying the work of individuals and groups who belong to historically excluded communities. She is currently researching sonic approaches to speculative futures and climate justice.
